Care for Senior Pets

We are sensitive to the fact that older cats and dogs have special needs for physical comfort and health care but don’t always show it. What is often passed off as 'just getting older' is often something much more specific for which treatment is available to make them more comfortable as the months and years go by.

Joint pain or stiffness, deteriorating heart or kidney function and loss of mental function are common age changes which can be identified and managed effectively: there is a great deal that we can do to help improve the quality of life of our older patients, so we strongly encourage you to bring them to us for regular health checks.
